TrMF #36 – Habitable Planets WE MAY BE ABLE TO LIVE ON! 5 Men Trapped In an Underwater Oil Pipe and the 1974 David Cassidy Disaster
Hello FRIENDS!
Its been a minute.
Life has been regular, and we have been away from the mic..
BUT we are BACK once again... and it is just as much of a downer as it always is.
FIRST! Earth-like exoplanets, Habitable plants WE COULD live on... ( if we could time warp)
For a planet to be considered potentially life-friendly, it must be relatively small and rocky, and it must orbit within the habitable or "Goldilocks" zone of its star. Not too hot, not too cold, but jussssst human friendly. Futurama has been calling the future WAY more than the Simpsons.
THEN The Terrifying Paria Diving Disaster: 5 Men Trapped In an Underwater Oilpipe
5 professionally trained divers were doing work off the coast of Pointe-a-Pierre, in Trinidad and Tobago, for Paria Fuel Trading Company. Who had contracted them out to do some repairs on an out-of-service oil line. The horrifying story of 5 men being sucked into a deep underwater oil pipe, trapped and left by the very company they worked for. TRIGGER WARNING.
And we wrap up with how the hysteria of a David Cassidy concert once led to a young woman's death and the creepy real-life story about what happened on the night of May 30, 1974.
SO, When they ask, be sure to tell em... THESErMYFRIENDS
